Human: I've got a few YETI/RTIC cups and wanted to test my new printer and outdated 3D modeling skills, so I decided to try making a handle. The result's not perfect, and I could definitely use more practice on the 3D modeling side. The handle in the pictures isn't exactly the same as the STL; it was adjusted to fit the RTIC cup better and add some extra reinforcement. If anyone has any input, I'm happy to listen. Print Settings Printer: FLSUN Delta (Aliexpress) Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .4mm (I didn't go lower due to print times) Infill: 50% honeycomb Notes: Due to the height and decent amount of infill I used, printing in PLA meant it took about 4 hours. The model was sliced with Slicer, and I used Repetier to print. It was printed upside down for ease of printing and to cut down on supports that would be needed if it were printed right side up. The handle pictured was printed with Hatchbox True Orange PLA at 200 degrees with no heated bed on blue painters tape. Post-Printing About 3 hours into the print Fresh out of the nozzle The original handle next to the one I designed; it's not a direct copy, just basic measurements taken off the standard handle and built from there. The handle on the cup; it sits high in this picture but was modified so it sits lower, has more material between the ring and handle, and is closer to the cup body. How I Designed This I used cheap digital calipers to take basic measurements of the standard handle and designed the printed one in Onshape.
