Yet-yet another power supply cover
thingiverse
This PSU monitor design is unique to the 12V, 20A Supernight version but may also fit other models. It draws inspiration from other designs for features while being created from scratch. OpenSCAD sources are included. The bill of materials includes a voltmeter, ammeter, rocker switch, large and small grommets, grounded power cord, zip ties, wire, and crimp-on lug connectors (optional). Note that the linked ammeter is under-rated for this PSU at 10A versus 20A, but if your load does not exceed approximately 8.5-9A, it should suffice. Instructions involve printing the back cover, optionally installing grommets, tapping holes for meters and installing them, wiring the rocker switch, soldering and connecting wires, securing cables behind grommets, connecting all wires to PSU terminals, sliding the cover onto the PSU, optional installation of a back arm retaining hook, clipping the rocker switch onto the cover, and securing the cover with a screw. An optional front cover can be added for aesthetic purposes. A DC connector, such as quick-connects or bare wire, can also be used.
