Yet Another Z Endstop Adjuster Prusa, RepRap, MakerGear
thingiverse
This one-piece MakerGear Prusa Z endstop adjuster offers simplicity and functionality, featuring an asymmetrical design to place the adjustment screw at a thicker part of the block. It attaches to smooth rods using 2 M3x12 screws and is secured from below. The M3 nut in the nut trap holds the adjustment screw, with fine tuning achieved by turning this screw. This eliminates the need for Z offset tweaking in slicer software. After printing, clean up the part with a file or X-Acto knife to clear holes and nut trap, and also smooth the bottom of the adjustment screw. Insert the M3 nut into the nut trap, then thread the adjustment screw through it until 5mm extends beyond the part. Tap the 2 bottom holes with an M3 tap, slide onto rods, and secure with 2- M3x12 screws if needed. Lower the stock Z endstop by 5mm, swinging it out to align the lever with the adjustment screw.
