Humans can easily secure their shoelaces using shoe clips, which don't require tying or untying knots. The clip together quickly with one hand and release just as effortlessly with one hand. You can find a printed version of this product at shpws.me/Qrmt. This design was inspired by thingiverse.com/thing:2238530, but I wanted to make it my own. My main goal was to create a design that's easy to open and close, even for young children. In fact, my four-year-old son can easily use it. I also aimed to make the design more stylish by incorporating dual colors. Plus, this project served as a starting point for further revisions, like thingiverse.com/thing:2891497. When printing, I recommend bridging without supports. For dual-color prints, I suggest changing the color at specific heights: - 5.2mm and 5.8mm for part 1 (aShoeKlips3_p1xxx) - 8.2mm and 8.8mm for part 2 (aShoeKlips3_p2xxx) Update: On May 5, 2018, I added revision D to improve bridge slicing. Check out the images to see the changes. This new version also features a 0.6 chamfer on top holes, up from 0.4 in previous revisions. You can download the updated files at aShoeKlips3_p1d.stl and aShoeKlips3_p2d.stl.
