Yet another Rubik's cube
thingiverse
Designing a Rubik's speed cube using OpenSCAD, this project boasts rounded exterior edges and offers raft and support structures that can be easily enabled during printing. The cube's thin walls have proven to withstand use, particularly the spring areas. The creator successfully solved the cube in 25 seconds, showcased in a video available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfwN4zlHlI4&feature=youtu.be. However, printing requires precise calibration to avoid sanding imperfections, and attention should be paid to dimensions and fit of center piece components. Also, ensure wall solidity around springs in the center piece to prevent breakage during use. For optimal printing, edit the scad file to print multiple pieces together at a preferred layer height of 0.3mm for smooth surfaces. Sanding should be minimized by checking fits early and readjusting as necessary. Finally, apply stickers to complete your cube creation.
