Yet another Ravioli Board
thingiverse
I decided to create a smaller pelmeni maker that can be used for square ravioli, utilizing pasta sheets rolled out on either hand-cranked or electric pasta machines found in most homes. The other board required an extraordinary ability to roll dough twelve inches wide and only one millimeter thin, so this design caters to those who lack such skill. To achieve the best results, I suggest starting with a first layer slightly thicker, allowing it to stretch without breaking apart. Meanwhile, the second layer can be made thinner, but should still be robust enough to merge seamlessly with the initial layer around its edges once rolled out. Adding a touch of water using a pastry brush before pressing them together will make the adhesion process much smoother. To avoid any issues, I highly recommend printing the pegs at an infill rate of forty percent or higher. Otherwise, they might break off inside the board's holes. Also, to ensure proper fit, print pegs with a 0.4 millimeter nozzle and a snug tightness when used. A 5 out of 10 modification rating has been given after including two additional STL files for those individuals who use wide rollers measuring 180 millimeters in width.
