Yet another playing card holder
thingiverse
My 4-year-old son needed a hand when getting those nasty 4+ in the UNO card game, so I whipped up something to help him out and we're now able to play for a lot longer. Printing this actually brought a huge smile to his face, and it was a great way for me to practice using the "follow me" tool in SketchUp. I also had the chance to give Fredo6's excellent Round Corner plugin a spin, which worked like a charm. For fun, I even uploaded the SketchUp file. It's worth noting that when working with the follow me tool, it's essential to draw your designs 10 times bigger than real life and then scale them down at the end for everything to work properly. I know my do-not-tip-over-legs may not be perfectly symmetrical, but hey, this was a quick 10-minute sketch, so cut me some slack!
