I was really impressed by the original design here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2006457, so I decided to put my own spin on it. This improved version uses three 608 bearings that let the spool spin smoothly and freely. The spool also sits higher up, giving a more direct feeding angle that's really effective. Adjustable guides keep the spool stable and prevent it from shifting from side to side. If you need extra clearance or want the spool to sit even higher, just print two extension pieces - you might need to use supports for these.
