For rapid printing, I sought firmwares with lookahead acceleration. This project turned out to be an exercise in bridging algorithms and settings. Taking inspiration from various Thingiverse designs, I customized the vertex found in Prusa's repository. UPDATE: On November 9th, I posted updated SCAD and M8 STL files; on November 14th, I added a block between horizontal and vertical holes for increased stiffness upon installation.
