Yet Another Koch Tealight Holder
cults3d
I drew inspiration from a design on thingiverse, specifically the item with the ID 37117. To create my own unique version, I used Blender to customize the shape and dimensions of the object to fit my needs. Initially, I started by generating a Koch curve in Inkscape following a tutorial that provided step-by-step instructions. The link to this tutorial is: people.cornellcollege.edu/dsherman/inkscape-fractal.html. Later, on November 25th, 2013, I added a 3D file with a 1 mm wall thickness for greater detail and precision. In September of 2014, I published additional information on how to replicate this design in Blender by following the instructions at marcoalici.wordpress.com/2013/11/25/koch-snowflake-tealight/.
