Yet Another Flash Stand for Pentax and Other Brands
thingiverse
I browsed some flash stands here, but none seemed to fit. Therefore I designed one to: * have a size and shape similar to lens filters (so you can use common pockets in the photo bags) * being rather stable on a table also for tilted flash heads or with accessories (but please try yourself) * being able to get mounted on a standard tripod * have round shape to avoid "getting stuck" when e.g. mounted on a tripod * having enough distance to not touch the contacts of the flash foot Printing: I used PETG with middle filling. Supports are needed only (!) at the flash insertion (can be easily removed then). Important: please avoid the screw thread getting filled. In Cura you can use the support blocker for that. Important: The flash is only held in place by the friction of the flash foot (when screwed / clamped). There is no other locking - although that's normal you should avoid using the flash foot as carrying handle or something like that :-) Enjoy your pictures ... by the way: sorry for the bad example pictures in Thingiverse; it was late and I needed to hurry up.
