Yet Another Filament Sample - Keycard Edition
thingiverse
So I created another filament sample card earlier this year, and I printed several of them right away. However, while larger, I didn't realize how massive they were and how much material was used compared to the smaller filament samples people typically use. So I came up with a new one! This one is about 60% smaller than my original one, and it has a few extra features that caught my attention. I wanted it to have some impressive details as well, and it turned into a futuristic keycard that's truly unique. The extra features are: - A small bridge test that pushes the limits - A 45° overhang test that puts layers to the test - A 0.5 mm transparency test that showcases its clarity This filament keycard prints flat with no support and takes about 18-20 minutes with standard settings. Plenty of space is available on the back of these keycards, so I took the time to print small labels for each brand, type, and color. Font size was a clear 10pt, and I used Bebas Neue with precision. If you want to store these in a stylish tray, here's a link to the tray I designed: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3593590
