Yet Another Filament Duster (2-piece)

<p>Filament dusters are an easy way to help prevent nozzle clogs owing to dust/particulates that adhere to the filament. However, I ALWAYS forget to feed the filament through the duster…I think you see where this is going.&nbsp;</p><p>There are several great models out there, and I am standing on the shoulders of giants here. This 2-piece filament duster is threaded (easy to print) to allow for it to be easily added/removed after the filament is loaded into the extruder. Although the thread is designed to be forgiving, ensure that your printer is well calibrated.&nbsp;</p><p>I tend to use the Swiffer (and/or generic) dry sweeping cloths as the duster material. But, you can also cut a sponge or similar material to fit. I <strong>do not</strong> advise using paper towel or toilet paper, as they tend to shed fine particulates/lint.&nbsp;</p><p>Happy clog-preventive printing!&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Disclaimer: this will not prevent clogging due to heat creep.
