I've secured my filament spool to the top rail of my CR-10, and I required a straightforward solution to prevent it from unraveling all over as it unwound. I designed this simple guide to keep things under control, and it performs exceptionally well at maintaining order. You insert the two pegs into the holes on the Z-axis rod guide at the top of the printer. It snaps securely in place and protrudes out the side with ease.
