Yet Another Combination Lock (Changeable Combination)
thingiverse
You'll need to source a spring. When assembled correctly, it allows you to alter the precise combination even after assembly is complete. The "code" gears (three are required) will be mounted on part 1; print the pins if necessary. M2 screws work best, provided they're not excessively long. Apply whiteout to enable writing numbers on the gears. The "driven" gears (also three in number) will be installed on the cylinder part 2. To change the combination: press down the pin when the correct sequence is entered; then enter the new combination and release the pin. Regarding SCAD files for the gears, I utilized a public domain gear library that I no longer have access to. Sorry about that inconvenience.
