This compact footprint rack is designed for the magnetic catan tiles from Dakanzia, paired with hexagonal spacer rings from his storage solution. Initial testing revealed that the original storage design was too cumbersome to print on my Robox and excessively costly, weighing nearly 500 grams. This alternative version is estimated to weigh approximately 33 grams when including supports. Strategically positioned flanges enable adjacent rows to be securely aligned without tiles shifting laterally. A more inventive individual may devise a magnetic seating mechanism. The racks are intended for use in a box or briefcase, utilizing the spacer rings to hold the pieces at an angle. When fully loaded, the racks reach a height of about 83mm.
