Yes, another ATX/Mini ATX/Micro ATX bench power supply. I discovered slight variations in manufacturing throw out a lot of the non-customisable designs here (and elsewhere). Even a slightly bent panel during manufacturing or removal causes problems. I also wanted to be able to heavily customise the front panel as well as give myself room to solder. This is also needed because of the varying sizes of terminal blocks, switches, meters, LEDs, USB block etc. Additionally I prefer things I can customize easily rather than hacking an STL I used the circuit at https://hackaday.io/project/184598/instructions but if you want a variable version, https://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/blog/convert-atx-psu-to-bench-supply.html may suit you better. The result will work on most ATX/Mini ATX/Micro ATX power supplies. You can: - add terminal blocks on top, - include or exclude a power switch for the PSU, - change the vent at the back and - customise the front panel (just look for the right module) It is a 3 part design comprising - The back that slides over the PSU - The front that does the same - A Front panel that sits inside the front housing Once I was happy with everything, I simply glued the 3 parts together. :) I have included the feet I used. These tilt the case slightly and make it easier to use the bottom banana plugs. The template ensures consistent spacing from the edge and back of the case and correct spacing between the feet to make sure the the angle is correct when fitted. These are simply glued in with contact adhesive. Tips - **Soldering Irons & PLA don't mix well** - check twice, and then again before cutting anything - open up the PSU and clip and heat shrink unnecessary/unused leads. this makes the result an lot more flexible and easier to assemble - keep the leads at least long enough to be able to push the panel through the front and press back against the lip - keep at least 1 ground for each of 12v, 3v, 3.3v. keep additional ons as you see fit for the meter, USB etc - do the same for the live for any separate circuits you may add - create a harness for the banana plugs, and anything else you can before you start assembly - I suggest adding at least polyfuses on each current drawing circuit - leave decent leads on any harness, you can always cut them later - The terminal blocks are very close to the switch, it may be worth moving them if you find it difficult Note: the front panel throws a 'WARNING: Object may not be a valid 2-manifold and may need repair.' I am now sure how or when I introduced it, but it slices and prints ok using Cura.In all likelihood you are going to edit it out anyway when you customise the panel.
