Yet another Anet A8 bed strain relief (wires at back, going up)
thingiverse
There are two versions of this thing, you probably want the "V2" one. Details are below. I didn't really like any of the other heated bed cable strain relief designs, so I made another one. This one slides over the corner of the H carriage, under the bed, with cables going up. **To install:** (How I did it anyway...) * Print without supports works fine * Remove bed and carriage from your printer * Heat up the part to make it slightly soft, probably best done with a heat gun (I used a gas cooker thingie, that worked fine too) * Slide it onto the corner of the carriage, apply more heat as needed * Reassemble, zip tie the wires in the channel. The holes are for 3mm zip ties. The part will shrink when cooling, giving it a firm attachment. There are two versions of this thing: the small one and the bigger "v2" one. The v2 requires more space behind the printer (move it away from the wall). The other one is shorter, but it makes wires get in the way of the carriage when printing at the back of the bed. The first photo is the "v2", the others are the shorter version.
