This extruder was initially designed for my Golem C printer but has been modified to fit Mendel, BiBone, and two-screw vertical carts. If customizing in the Customizer gives issues again (it already did once), it works fine in OpenSCAD. I'll look into the problem soon; in the meantime, download and tweak in OpenSCAD. Don't hesitate to reach out for assistance, as the code is messy and full of variables that could use improvement. Suggestions are welcome! The design features a one-block print, lightweight with 3x6x13x5 bearings, designed for double mount, and has a milled bolt with a grooved idler providing an ultra-strong (10kg plus at 1.75mm ABS) grip with minimal filament deformation. The visible drive bolt is easy to inspect and clean, as it doesn't tend to mill away the filament unless there's nozzle blockage. Most elements are parametric. It uses a bolt from this thing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:53955. You can attempt printing the idler, but it may break soon; using POM or PA6 is a better idea. There are numerous parameters, as they were added over a few months; default settings are for Mendel mount, 16mm J-head, 1.75mm filament in a 4mm PTFE guide, and a 22mm custom grooved idler. Customize the variables you want to change. If rendering issues occur, feel free to provide feedback. This design is still being tested (with about 5 kilos of use without any problems) so far; join in or wait for a stable version in a week or two.
