Spinning the disc ball joint's mate, check out this thing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5126. It features balls attached to a disc and allows you to add as many as desired due to its parametric design, even adjusting the disc size accordingly. Attach items such as the included sphere clamp for versatile use. The default 10mm radius ball pairs well with Yazzo ball caps. However, printing can be challenging due to overhang caused by balls lifting the disc off the X-Y plane, requiring careful printer selection and potential edge printing. Note that color in pictures is from MakerGear's colored filament, not paint. An update on 16 Dec 2010 increased grabber enclosure strength for better functionality. Simply follow instructions to design, print, attach clamps, and enjoy!
