Yazzo Shelf Side Motor Mount
thingiverse
The original design aimed for experimentation in placement adjustments. This revised model enhances the design by incorporating the shelf clip into the motor holding rectangle itself, shifting it to the top side of the rectangle. Such a change provides better stability while the motor is spinning. Here's how you can use this improved design: 1. Get your Nema 17 motor ready. 2. Attach one or two sleeves onto the motor. 3. Slide the mount onto a shelf with default thickness of 6.5mm. 4. Enjoy the stability! To further reinforce stability, you can use a screw to drive through the clip and lock it onto the shelf or simply glue the clip to the shelf. For enhanced support, two clips might suffice, but if you desire total coverage, you could fit three. And guess what? You have the liberty to configure your own size within the OpenScad file!
