To attach a round rod directly to a motor shaft, print a part featuring a 11mm arm and a 5mm M3 hole for a set screw. Insert your desired dowel or shaft into the large side hole, then press the disc onto the motor's 5mm shaft. Secure it in place using an M3 screw in the side hole, and celebrate as you now have a movable arm operated by the motor! However, be gentle when tightening to avoid damaging the part due to lack of boss.
