To mount an axle on a rod, simply place this component at its end and insert an axle through its separated holes. This useful part creates a swivel joint between two rods, with a default size fitting rods of 11.34mm outer diameter (such as carbon fiber tubing). The axle holes accommodate 1/4-inch diameters. Customize the OpenScad file for alternative bore hole sizes and print several pieces. Insert dowel pins sized to your rod's requirement, attach interesting items onto the axle, and enjoy! A recent update (11022011) improved the tapered design at the top.
