To create a fast-moving bot with a lightweight tool head in two axes, print this design and follow the steps. Insert 3/8"-1 inch long bushings into the large holes of the main block and slide in 3/8" precision rods. Complete your bot construction while celebrating your swift creation. Adjust printer tolerances if necessary; use a heat gun to press fit bushings, or apply sticky epoxy for added security. This design allows mounting tools or feeding filament as desired. Run the platform either way up according to your design preference. The OpenScad file separates the tool platform from the two-way block, allowing printing alone for customized hole drilling and tapping. Linear bearings fit in 5/8" holes by default, with bushings offering smoother movement when aligned correctly. This parametric design can be edited to suit individual needs.
