This model offers a double socket variant, perfect for building structures that require multiple struts fitting around a solid rod, such as trestle bridges. The default size is designed for 5/16" rods with moderate friction, but can be adjusted in the OpenScad file to fit your preferred rod size. This part also has the same-sized holes as other socketed elements, allowing for mixing and matching. To use it, identify areas where solid rods are needed along with flexible ones, print some double sockets, slip them onto rods, and firmly insert sphere-capped rods into the sockets to complete your structure.
