YAZSAKI JROK ZX Spectrum Keyboard Interface sleeve case
thingiverse
This is a sleek and functional case for an external Sinclair ZX Spectrum Keyboard Interface, designed by the talented team at JROK and made available here http://www.jrok.com/project/speckey/spec_key.html. The compact case features two primary components: a main body and a secure cap that is fastened firmly in place with a single 2mm screw. To ensure a seamless fit, it's also a good idea to apply some adhesive to the corners where the cap meets the main part. Inside, you'll find carefully designed PCB rails, allowing for optimal flexibility. Since the FR-4 material has an adequate thickness, you shouldn't encounter any issues with this aspect of the build. Please keep in mind that due to design constraints, this interface will not function correctly on newer ZX Spectrum versions (+, 128k, +2/2A/3) without a bus expansion module (like the one found at http://divide.cz/index.php?y=rozdvojka.en). Unfortunately, the layout of these computers poses an issue with the collision between CPLD socket and PS/2 connector against their casing. This design was crafted using the latest iteration of FreeCAD v0.14. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.35
