YATW: Yet-another-toy-wheel (OpenSCAD)
thingiverse
This OpenSCAD model showcases a wheel design that is ideal for toy trucks and other similar applications. The model can also be rendered using DualStrusion. However, it requires the MCAD library, and you may need to adjust the OpenSCAD tree element limit to 8000 in the Preferences/Advanced setting to render this model correctly. With the MCAD library enabled, customize the wheel's parameters like radius, width, number of vents, shaft diameter, and tread depth to achieve your desired design. The default values are inspired by a Tonka truck's wheels. The top-level component offers three models for selection: 0 for the complete wheel, -1 for the tread only, and +1 for the hub only. This feature is useful when exporting pieces for dualstrusion printing. Additionally, recent modifications have been made to enhance the hub's stability during printing by adding ribs at its base.
