The renderer seems down; check out http://www.flickr.com/photos/24375810@N06/3605186452/ for some pics. When my brother proposed creating a lens hood for his old Yashica, I wasn't certain if the Makerbot could handle such intricate detail. However, after refining the design, it became apparent that it would work. The Makerbot facilitated an effortless and intuitive design process. I rapidly produced a rough model, identified issues, adjusted dimensions, and printed new iterations until reaching the perfect design within five hours - even leaving time for a movie and dinner. This lens hood is hard to find nowadays, making it one of my most fulfilling Makerbot projects. Thank you, Makerbot! The finished product requires printing in black and attaches to your camera to prevent glare in photographs.
