YARPIZ Case (Yet Anoter Raspberry Pi Zero case)
thingiverse
Couldn't find a more creative name for this, sorry. This is my design for my Raspberry pi Zero slim case (Compatible with v1.3 and previous versions). Printed some designs from out there but I wanted some little mods to suit my needs. I doubt from time to time which of the two USB ports are the power in, so I engraved convenient labels for each. I filleted the pivots for the holes of the RPi to fit easily. Put tolerances just to print & fit. Rounded edges for easy carry on your pocket. Lid presses in place the RPI zero keeping it always in place. Removed the little details in the bottom part for the in-between USB ports that I always end breaking out, anyway this helps to a cleaner print. Top and bottom 1mm plastic. Walls of 2mm because we need a bit tight fit and 1mm could crack easier. Easy print, no vitamins, no tools, no supports, you don't even need a printer, it prints itself!! :-) Recommended 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer. Don't use brim on the lid, labels will print better. Case in the pic was done using a red sharpie, then cleaning with alcohol and sanding a bit. I liked that aged look. Credits: This thing has made my work eeeeasy: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1612021 Thanks dude!! Enjoy! UPDATE (05-AUG-2016): Decreased tolerance for the lids to achieve even a tighter fit. Again this affects only the lids. Models updated accordingly. Added a lid with the Raspberry pi logo, thanks to: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1428559 UPDATE (04-AUG-2016): Cleared some space in the lids around the HDMI connector to not interfere with some SMD components. Made some space in the lids for the camera plug that were disturbing for the 1.3 version. This only affects the lids, sorry about any inconvenience. All STL's and design updated. TODO: Maybe a lid with holes for the GPIO. If interested just ask.
