Yarp, Mantle Crab Porter

My 19th entry for the 30 Characters Challenge features a unique character designed daily throughout November. Each model's creation is randomized using the Continuum Narrative Engine, a storytelling game system currently under development at Ill Gotten Games headquarters. I'll be posting the prints as they become available, with WIP models available on 30characters.com/author/dutch-mogul/. The featured character is Yarp, an Iolosian Mantle Crab from the Mooncliffs of Iolos. Although not typically considered sapient, these creatures are often employed as pack animals by adventurers exploring harsh landscapes. Once trained, they form strong bonds with their owners and will even protect them. The model was created in Sculptris and TinkerCAD and can be found on tinkercad.com/things/jXQtVYQp0dn-yarp-iolosioan-mantle-crab-porter-30characterschallenge. Upon printing in PLA at 230 extruder temp, with .10 layer height, 10% infill, and 2 shells, the model was assembled using superglue and painted with water-based acrylics.
