Yarn Yoshi: A Project I Built from Scratch for My Final Class Project The figure is a precise replica of the original Yarn Yoshi in both size and shape. Since this was my first time building something like this, there might be some areas where it falls short of perfection. Nevertheless, it serves as an impressive accomplishment for a beginner's project. **Printer Settings Used** The specific printer settings I used for this model were as follows: **Manufacturer Information:** MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Settings Options: Rafts Required or Optional?: It doesn't really matter. If you choose to use one, the final result will look better. Do You Need Supports?: Yes. It is highly recommended that they be used for best results. Printing Resolution Level: High Level of Infill Inside the Model?: 50% Notes: Based on my experience, I believe supports are essential and should be raised a little off the printing platform to obtain sharper details at the base of the model. However, you might choose to skip using rafts depending on your specific printer specifications. An alternative approach would also be to simply print it standing upright instead of flat. This last part is an unintended design, resulting from how I happened to have scanned and saved the original file before printing.
With this file you will be able to print Yarn Yoshi with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Yarn Yoshi.
