What it isA simple yarn spinning tool to facilitate the unravelling of yarn while doing a crochet or knitting project. The spinning has been made more efficient by using magnets that are repelling each other.What do I needPLA2 small magnets, 5mm diameter, approx 2.5mm height (example on Amazon)A hot glue gunHow do I print it0.2mm layer height, no support needed. I personally preferred printing the two parts separately. Some light fan speed is also preferable.How do I assemble itPrint the two parts (called the base and the stem)Polish the rod part of the baseTake two magnets and make sure to mark them so that you can remember their repelling orientation Insert one of them in the insert at the top of the base. It can be press-fitted, or you can glue it to the insertPut some glue on the second magnet, and while the glue is still melted, shove the magnet to the top of the stem's hole. This step is a bit tricky, I had to first glue the magnet to a chopstick before putting glue on the other side of the magnetDemo
