Yarn holder

My girlfriend took up crocheting and shared with me the challenge she faced in keeping her yarn steady while crocheting, which sparked my idea for a solution. The yarn holder I came up with consists of two separate pieces that do not require additional support. To assemble it, you will need a regular skateboard bearing with an 8mm inner diameter and 22mm outer diameter. You might have to use a rubber mallet to press the bearing into place within the top piece. To ensure stability when pulling on the yarn, I added three-quarters of a washer around the central pillar to increase its weight. These washers can be sourced from Home Depot. Once assembled, apply some Krazy glue along the inside of the bearing and attach it to the bottom piece. Be sure to hold it firmly in place while gluing and center it accurately so that it does not spin unevenly.
