Yarn Caddy #2

Yarn Caddy #2

prusaprinters

This is a variation of Yarn Caddy #1. It is made with an even bigger jug for pork rinds. The jug is about 10" deep, 9" diameter, and opening about 6". It will hold a full 16oz skein or several smaller ones. This has two cutouts. With the extra cutout you could easily work a multi-yarn project. The cutouts will accept up to size 19 needles. The jug is not threaded, so I had to figure out to attach the lid. It has two slightly offset rings, so I went with blocks that wedge between them. You line it up with the top ring opening, slide it on, then turn until it snaps down into the second ring, and turn a little more to get a snug fit.My wife sewed a cover for this one also - complete with a strap and drawstring. I made Matsugawa's Decorative Cherry Blossom (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2734083) that she sewed on.It prints with no support. I used PLA+ for this one. But I used a piece of ABS filament for a stronger hinge.
