I created the bowl specifically to store yarn balls following my observation of a wooden model that unfortunately met its demise when it fell and shattered into pieces. Fortunately, this mishap led to an unexpected outcome as I discovered the bowl's functionality with yarn balls and spirals proved to be surprisingly effective.
