Designing an enclosure for a recent yard speaker project required careful consideration of functionality and aesthetics. To house a Raspberry Pi and Wuzhi board amplifier, the enclosure had to provide ample space while maintaining ease of wall installation. The volume knob was designed to remain accessible at all times, ensuring seamless operation. A removable lid without screws was a key feature, employing locking tabs for secure closure instead. For added strength, the base was printed with PETG, while the cover was crafted from wood PLA. A 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill ensured maximum stability, and the absence of supports streamlined the printing process altogether.
