YAPM Handheld Brushless Gimbal

Yet Another Portable Man's Handheld Brushless Gimbal Since acquiring my Mavic pro, I've been neglecting my homemade drones for aerial photography. So I decided to transform my affordable Chinese 2-axis brushless gimbal into a portable handheld model, perfect for traveling. I scoured Thingiverse for alternative designs but was disappointed by the exposed wires. No offense to those designers - I sought a neater, more travel-friendly design without worrying about snagging on objects. Thus, I designed my own solution. This handheld gimbal is engineered for use with an EKEN H8 Plus action cam and compatible cameras like GoPro Hero 3. The design relies on contact adhesive to assemble the parts and necessitates soldering and basic electronics knowledge. Some filing and fitting may be required. Do not attempt if you're uncomfortable with these tasks. Update March 25, 2018 - Added a GoPro Hero 5/6 mount - Incorporated an oversized sensor slot for diverse sensors - Included two types of sensor clips: internal or external - Secure the sensor with double-sided tape on its back - Introduced bottom case rev2 - Enhanced thickness and added counter-sink for nuts - Created grooves to facilitate handle positioning during gluing
