This is a replacement holder for the dipstick on Yanmar Kanzaki KM2P-1 Transmissions. The originals (Yanmar part 177088-02451) are known for breaking at the threads every few years, so having a spare is good. The metal dipstick can be removed from the original and put in this. Be sure to use material with a high enough glass transition temperature. After a long run I measured my transmission at 68C or less, so PETG is *probably* good enough, buy your mileage may vary. I printed one version in PETG but another in Polycarbonate which should be safer. I printed with 100% infill and 0.07mm layer height to make sure the threads are strong and detailed enough.
