Yamaha YZF R1 headlight cover (Standard and extended for LED)
thingiverse
This is the headlight cover for the dipped beams of a Yamaha R1, 2005 model. There is both a standard version and an extended version that allows room for the heatsink of an LED replacement lamp. On mine it still clears the forks, but not by a lot. I probed the bayonet lugs on my CNC mill, so I am pretty confident on the spacings and sizes. It certainly fits my own bike snugly. You probably _don't_ want to print this in PLA as it can soften when the lamps warm up. Then they fall out, and block the steering. Which is bad. Especially at a track day. Don't ask me how I know. (actually it wasn't as bad as it might have been, at first I thought I had a front puncture...) I moved the original covers to the main beams when I swapped those to LED (actually, when I swapped to HID several years ago, replacing the rubber boots with a 3D printed ring that fits on the taper. I have lost that model, though. If you ask nicely, I can re-create it.
