Yamaha Superjet Freestyle Pump cone (tested, works. 1mm small)
thingiverse
This is a custom pump cone designed for the 144mm stock Yamaha Superjet pump, created by measuring and modifying the original design to make it shorter. The prototype hasn't been printed yet, but it was installed on my existing pump and fits well. To ensure a secure fit, I applied a small bead of RTV around the outside edge to fill in any imperfections or ridges on the mating surface. Edit 4/3/17 After taking the pump for a test ride, everything seems to be working smoothly - it stayed attached and nothing broke off, with no signs of leaks. The Solidworks file is included so that users can modify the design to suit their needs. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 35% Notes: I tried printing at 0.1mm but had trouble with adhesion, so I switched to 0.2mm with a raft due to impatience. Printing with 100% infill is recommended because the pump gets bolted down. Post-Printing There will be some tedious cleanup required after printing. If supports are used, it's essential to clean out the O-ring channel thoroughly. I used a file and sandpaper to clean up mine.
