Yamaha Outboard fuel line cover older outboards, v1.0
thingiverse
Hi there, This small and quick 3D print item is for Yamaha outboard engine, the slightly older 2-stroke engine models with dual fuel line. My engine is quite old, designed to run on partially regular fuel and partially kerosine. I today use only regular fuel on both lines. However, the issue is that if I remove the fuel line connector, the fuel pipes are left there for rain, dust, dirt, snow and so on. This 3D print fixes the issue. It is simply a plug to fit over the fuel pipes at engine end. The fuel pipes stay clean. The print is not a tight fit to prevent freezing and/or to minimize fuel contact with PLA. I printed this with PLA+ and then heated the print in oven (100 C) for 30 minutes to make the item more heat resistant and generally more tough. The oven shrinks the item few %. There are 2 files, one with 100% scale and one with 104% scale for oven post-heating. Enjoy the print and keep your Yamaha running!
