I damaged the display on my brand new e-bike while loading it into my van. Two small ridges that fit snugly into the bike mount slots snapped off. The entire display required replacement at a cost of $100 US. This clip, now holding my display in place, functions flawlessly. You simply hold the clip in position and slide the display into its mounting grooves. The catch still engages properly so you must pull the release lever down to remove the display. When inserting it, two hands are necessary, but no acrobatic feats like standing on your head are required to ensure proper alignment.
