Yamaha DT Express frame joining piece
thingiverse
I designed this piece after the original cracked and was irreparable, its brain module shattered beyond repair. This new piece mirrors the one that attaches the brain support tube to the frame's left side. It can likely be used anywhere on the drum kit with a broken T-joiner. Print Settings: Printer: Welleman Vertex Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: medium (0.2mm layer height) Infill: 70% Notes: This is quite large, so printing one raft layer will keep it steady in place. Print it lying down as shown on the picture with supports to secure it properly. You won't really need supports inside the cylindrical cavities, but be sure to shave off excess extrusions from within when it's finished if you omit the internal supports. On my printer, this took over 10 hours to print, so ensure you have sufficient time and filament (about 32 meters). Don't compromise on infill amount; it must be incredibly strong.
