In East Asian mythology, Yama is a fierce protector of justice who presides over the underworld and decides the fate of the dead, ruling over the Narakas, or hells, and guiding souls through the cycle of rebirth. While rooted in the Hindu god Yama from the Vedas, the Buddhist Yama has evolved into a distinct figure with unique myths and responsibilities. His influence extends far beyond India, known and revered in every country where Buddhism is practiced, including China, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. This 3D model is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a vast digital repository of fully printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe.
