Yaksha
myminifactory
Yaksha are a diverse group of nature spirits that embody both gentle and malevolent traits as caretakers of natural treasures hidden beneath the earth and within tree roots. In Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist texts, yaksha demonstrate contrasting personalities. On one hand, they may be benevolent nature fairies associated with forests and mountains; on the other, a darker aspect emerges, manifesting as ghosts that haunt wilderness areas and prey upon unsuspecting travelers, similar to the rakshasas. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access at no cost.
