The Yaksha sculpture originates from the Shunga period, circa 50 B.C., and is made of sandstone. It measures 88.9 cm in height and 45.7 cm in width, classifying it as a sculpture. The artwork was gifted by Jeffrey B. Soref to honor Martin Lerner in 1988, and is identified by the accession number 1988.354. The piece was captured using Autodesk 123D Catch by Ana Marva Fernandez, Matt Griffin, and Liz Arum at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York during the Met MakerBot Hackathon in June 2012.
