This wall mount pairs seamlessly with Yakima Sidewinder, and it's highly likely that it will work flawlessly with other Yakima Round Bar mounting carriers as well. With some minor modifications, such as adjusting the pin length, it may even be compatible with various other systems. To ensure a precise fit, I reduced the pin length in the files by 8 mm, carefully measuring the excess to avoid over-cutting - a wise decision, given that it's already thicker than necessary. Its design accommodates a 1 1/4 inch SPAX screw, effortlessly securing it to a sturdy 1-by board or 3/4 inch plywood without compromising the drywall integrity.
