YakFisher Garmin Striker 1" Ball Mount System

Here is a complete 'Ball' mounting system for the Garmin Striker 5/7/9 Plus sounders. (Please check to see if yours has the circular ratcheting mount) It comprises of 6 printed pieces (2x WIngnuts) - 1" Ball Mount to Garmin ratcheting bracket - Left Arm - Right Arm - Top Wingnut - Bottom Wingnut - 1" track Ball mount The list of needed hardware is as follows; 1x M6 35mm 316 Stainless Steel Hex Bolt (10 x 5mm Head) 2x M6 40mm 316 Stainless Steel Hex Bolts (10 x 5mm Head) 2x M6 316 Stainless Steel Hex Nuts (10 x 5mm) 3x M4 316 Stainless Steel Socket Head Bolts (7 x 4mm Head) 3x M4 316 Stainless Steel Locknuts 1x 38 x 6.3mm Aluminium Rod 1x M6 Track Nut (I made one out of Aluminium 20 x 3mm bar and tapped it) The ball to Garmin mount is reinforced with a short 38mm Aluminium rod. This was epoxied into place. This adds much needed strength to the upper ball mount. The two 40mm bolts are for the arms. The 35mm bolt is to be enclosed into the lower track ball mount during printing. This adds much needed strength to the lower ball mount. The lower ball mount has a sacrificial prop with a one layer clearance, which allows the bolt to be dropped into the ball with 10mm clearance at the base. Remove the prop with a scrapper and pliers. Pause the print via script at 'Layer 207' if printing at 0.2mm resolution (Recommended). The two hex nuts are to be enclosed into the wingnuts while printing also. Print orientation is widest surface down. Please pause the print via script at 'Layer 31', again, if printing at 0.2mm resolution. The balls were covered in heatshrink for much more grab once tightened. It's an absolute must to make this addition. Rubberized paint would work very well also. CAUTION! If using heatshrink on the balls, PLEASE flash heat the shrink as you will melt the PLA if not careful. Going slow is a must, with regular ball temperature checks. The arms were inspired by fellow designer 'Unstuck', as I liked their design, but were created completely anew in metric sizing for the hardware, as well as a few other improvements. Their Thing can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:267879 If users would like this in 'Imperial' sizing for the hardware, please make suggestions in the comments. All parts were printed with 5 perimeters (5 x 0.4mm) with a 'Grid' style infill of 75%.
