YakAttack LeverLoc Spacer

YakAttack LeverLoc Spacer

I crafted this custom block for seamless integration with the YakAttack LeverLoc system. Since my Pelican Catch 100 kayak, as well as its 120 model counterpart, features a lip that blocks traditional installation methods, I designed this solution to fit snugly behind the leverloc "triangle" piece. Longer screws will be required for secure fastening. As an HD system user, I needed to purchase 10-32 x 1.5-inch bolts to reach the necessary depth. Those without the HD system can opt for self-tapping screws at least one inch long instead. For printing, I chose solid ABS, but PETG would also work well, and a partially printed design might be sufficient, depending on personal preference. To ensure optimal performance, I added channels on the back of the block to allow water to flow freely, rather than accumulating on top. This feature is likely unnecessary, but it doesn't hurt to have extra functionality. The anchor trolley eyelet fits perfectly into place under the block, allowing the trolley to function as intended. I'll update this project with installation photos once my longer bolts arrive.
