Yak-50 for microarmor
thingiverse
The Yak-50 was a revolutionary fighter designed from scratch to tackle the challenges of an all-weather interceptor. Its specs were cutting-edge for 1949, but ultimately, the project was mothballed when a modified Mig-17 with radar capabilities entered production around 1951. This sleek "what if?" alternative to the ubiquitous Migs would be a stunning addition to any game table. A precise 3D model of the Yak-50 in full dimensions was created using Blender 2.79b and scaled down to 1/100 for the STL file. The slicer then reduced the scale to 35% for optimal printing. For reference, standard 15mm dice were used as a benchmark for size comparison.
